i've been trawling loads of blogs and decided to join the club. i'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to using computers so it'll take some time for me to customize my page, bare with me.
i don't really have a mission statement for what i'll blog. i suppose it'll just be what's rocking my little world at that moment. stuff i haven't listened to in ages, stuff i've just found for a bargain or stuff i think you might have missed and need to hear.
it won't be new stuff because that can be bought quite easily. all this debate recently about what's right and wrong about blogging has made me think about the bigger picture. if i put something up it'll hopefully spur you to purchase other stuff by the artist. i have posted mp3's at 320 kps elsewhere, but on here they won't be at that level.
when i work out how to i'll also give links to some of my favourite sites. there's a lot of people out there who've inspired me to purchase music i'd never heard before. if my little page can do the same for others i'll be "passing it on" as it were.
okay let's go...
denise motto - i m n x t c (jd twitch optimo mix)
absolute belter of a tune given a re-rub by jd twitch.
i found the original on an old lp called rob olson's chicago jackbeat many years ago. i moved from my parent's house and left my records there but started buying doubles of stuff i had in charity shops etc (much to the annoyance of mrs smackhead). the lp can be found all over the place for next to nothing (charity shop, car booty, 2nd hand stores that sell dylan records) because it looks cheap and no-one knows who rob olson was. answers on a postcard...
it's also got a z-factor track on it as well. there's also a volume 2 which strangely has a catalogue number preceding volume 1.
